GoPro Camera Got Consumed By Lava, Burst Into Flames, Survived And Recorded The Entire Thing

Environmental exploration guide Erik Storm left his GoPro on the slow crawling lava path and the GoPro continued to record despite the high pressure and heat of the lava.

Erik placed his GoPro in a small crevice to try to get images of the fiery madness. Lava then suddenly sank out of the crack and engulfed the camera, which was in a protective casing at the time.Watching the lava consume his camera, he assumed it was long gone – but no.

Smashing through the cooled rock and recovering his beloved camera, Storm discovered that the SD card it contained had survived, and the camera continued to film during its hellish ordeal. You can see the video down below:
